Abstract
We have derived multi-wavelength photometric predictions in several important UV, optical, and near-IR HST bandpasses using the latest stellar population models with varying age, metallicity, alpha-enhancement, and internal reddening. Our goal is to make detailed comparisons of these state-of-the-art model predictions with new multi-band HST observations of nuclear star clusters to constrain the star formation and chemical enrichment histories of galactic stellar nuclei. We particularly focus on the unusually red stellar nuclei in order to derive their mean ages and metallicities including the effect of potential internal reddening due to dust. We will present our model predictions and first comparisons to the available data.
Support for this work was provided by the NASA through grant HST-GO-11083.
